Life is simple

Hahay! Life is beautiful and complicated. With so many complexities (and conveniences) in this world, living in this metropolis, in this country, I must prefer to try to live a simple contented life. With the advances of technology (spec. ICT), its kinda difficult to lay back and enjoy some things.
Here are some I'll enjoy:

• post mail- It's a test of thoughtfulness, really. If one wants to mean something, write a letter. email's just plain convenient and common. By the way, I hate the term snail mail. Whoever coined it deserves to be buried in the bed of snails full of mails.
  
• landline phone call - the best, as opposed to cell phone calls which are curt, hurried and poor quality. I miss the brringgg! of the phone. VoIP? nah!
  
• portable cassette player (walkman) - mp3 players...yea... sigh! no matter how extrasupra the storage and audio processing, still I'll enjoy more the walkman. Voice recording on tape is more hands-on.
• pen and organizer - haha, the industry most affected by ICT. I miss my handwriting.
• book and magazine - yea the Net has everything they say, but one can't bring the Net to Turtle Island or Mt. Pinatubo.
• bicycle - obviously not an ICT thing. But definitely a must to complete living a simple life.

Hahay (again) my birthday's coming this October, go figure
