September rain

Wake me up when September rains...I hate the weather these past few days--warm in the morning, hot by noontime, pouring by late afternoon to early evening, and cool at night. It's the start of the 'ber months. Lots of folks in the Metro got colds including me. Sigh! Matteroffactly, I seldom get the colds coz I've got strong immunity, ahem, but this particular virus still managed to strike me. Thing that made me double the dose of vit C intake and sleeping quite earlier. It's good that my colds's subsiding now.
Another thing: three weeks ago our barangay (village) Pansol was stricken with dengue. Blame it on the rain...yey yey! I have lived for seven years here and it's the first time I heard of a fatality, fatalities rather, caused by those bloodsuckers! (that's why I'm a werewolf in MonstersGame). Good that our young, gay, and award-studded barangay captain really did a good job in eradicating the would-be epidemic. Our neighbors are worse, Brgy Loyola Heights (where Ateneo is) and Brgy Old Balara-Tandang Sora (where Ayala Heights is) have more cases and fatalities. Whew! That's the curse of a tropical setting with high population density.
